Adoptable Cats & Rescue Work!
Our mission is to feed, house and socialize feral cats in our area of CT (Middlebury and surrounding areas of need). To this end we provide multiple warm shelters, food, a heated water supply and enrichment for the cats who visit our area. Working with the cats in order to provide them with spay/neuter services and vaccinations, or until they are open to coming permanently inside is a secondary, but crucial, process as well. In addition, we have a wonderful group of 14 cats of our own who are integral to the socialization process.

Shula and Barnaby
Shula and Barnaby are approximately 5 month old domestic shorthair kittens that were rescued from the street on the Middlebury / Waterbury line, along with one sibling who has been adopted out. They are bonded and we would love to adopt them out together to the perfect home! Both kittens are super playful and loving, but are still a bit shy to warm up with new people and will appreciate a home that can approach them with the understanding and patience they need to fully open up. Shula and Barnaby have had all their vaccinations and are FIV/FEV negative - they will beed to be spayed and neutered in the next few months (Nutmeg Clinic offers this service at around $150 per cat). I am happy to offer behavior consultations free of charge to their adopter if necessary! These kittens are so wonderful. <3

IN PROGRESS REHAB
Dahlia was rescued from our local pizza place after having given birth to a litter of kittens! She raised her kittens with us and they were all adopted out to a wonderful home together. Dahlia is currently waiting for her spay appointment and working on coming out of her shell. She’s a very social (with cats) and super loving lady who would make an AMAZING cat friend to someone who already has a friendly cat. Check this space for more Dahlia news!
